The TV show "A Football Life- Barry Sanders" just showed on NFL Network. An excellent show about the best running back who ever played the game. Also the most humble man I have ever seen in professional sports. You should watch if you get a chance.

You must have forgotten about Bo! :cowboy:
I don't know Bo. Did he play for that Junior College you keep talking about? :cowboy:

I don't know if Bo Jackson was or could have been the greastest Rb or baseball player of all time, but has to be in the top 10 of best athletes of all time.

I saw a a progrm about Bo and after hip surgery it was his first at bat and he was down 2 strikes.
His wife was saying to herself "just let hit get a hit, even a litte single up the middle, just don't let him strike out"
Next pitch Bo puts it over the left field wall, it was great !
All the interviews and things i have seen about him, he seems to be one of the good guys

Saw Bo play a baseball game in KC back in the 80's. Most amazing athelete i have ever seen.

Liked watching emmit Smith run with a football. He definately had some game!

Ever wonder what Barry Saunders could have done with a winning organization and a really good line? How he did what he did in Detroit is amazing. He also went out on top, gotta' admire that. What is Bo doing now? gs

while Bo Jackson had amazing talent, and from all accounts he is and was as an athlete a good guy rather than a thug.... I cannot classify him as a greatest as he was just a shooting star....his careers were so short as to not have much impact on either sport he played....amazing yes...greatest no....

Never understood why he retired. He was on track to break the rushing record in such a way that nobody would ever even get close to it..... and just quit !!!

Barry sanders is my favorite running back . I remember watching him play for okie lite and Detroit . If Dallas or someone with a good line back then would have drafted him no telling what his numbers would have looked like .

He probably wanted to be remembered as one of the greats . Look at how good emit smith Deion sanders guys like that were in the first 5 years of playing in the nfl . But everyone remembers them for the last few years of their career when they were average players .

Would you do another year in Detroit? I suppose he could have gotten a trade, but....
