I built a barn last year that was 30x60x16 it would hold around 150 round bales. I need more space. What size do most have on here foe storing rounds and how many can you hold. I need to store around 500 bales inside. i was going to have it completly enclosed or at least 3 sides. I found a 60x100x16 for $17,289 or a 50x75x14 with one sidewall and 2 endwalls closed for $14,313.
the best deal is a 30x50x10 enclosed for $6100. i walk in door, 1 big slide door .

i would say you need a 100x180x16. i would say you could get 60x100x16 for 17,289 and then use yuor other build and you would probally have rooom for 500- 600 bales

our hay barn has one open end but we were talking that access on the other end would be great

this year we actually have leftover hay and needless to say that will be fed first when winter comes
but to do that we have to take all of it out of the barn before we put new hay in (or at least try movin it to one side)

Due to the unknown I would rather have 2 barns that would hold 250 bales each than one the would hold it all. If anything goes wrong you would lose your total hay crop. This comment comes from experience.
