Been having some balance issues causing my timber ratter disposition to be a little less friendly than normal.

Next week is going to fun testing for vestibular migraine or stroke. Sounds like voodoo to me I have never had a headache in my life.
Also back to the MRI and neurosurgeon looking for spurs on the cervical fusion from osteoarthritis.
I don’t like the rithus brothers either.
I just love driving to Houston.
Did I mention how much I like driving in Houston.
I could see me becoming a ward of the state with free health care if I had to every day.
 
Doesn't sound good. Have they checked for crystals in your ear (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo)? That's what was causing my dad's loss of balance.

I don't know your age but I do know you and I both are not spring chickens. I hope the balance issue is not serious.

Regarding the bone issues. I am 68 and this winter has really caused some of my age to show. My hands are stiff in the morning and the joints on my little fingers are swollen and sore. Also noticing some joint pain in the junction of the pelvis with the sacral vertebra. If I am forking manure or spreading bedding for the calves, that junction in the lower back starts to ache.

I assume all these ailments are inevitable.
 
Hope it is just something you are eating or taking causing the problem that is an easy fix.

Clue for you it won't get better. Country living is not for the faint of heart. Also you have to be pretty tough to get old.

I get all the vertigo test Wednesday.
I actually think disc above and below my cervical fusion have failed or failing putting pressure on the spinal column again. This was splained at the time of surgery as being a probability down the road. I had fusion C-3 through C6 I think C6 to C7 has gone. Lot of phantom neurological twitching and pains again like before the initial surgery . When I stabilized the neck balance issues greatly improve.
Just the thought of having to wear that neck brace 24 hours a day again for weeks. That thing will drive you insane.

I was being all Pollyanna and trying to avoid going back to spinal issues :( . Huge improvement after Hubby's laminectomy but wouldn't wish that type of surgery on anyone & really hope you don't have to have another fusion.
 
TCR fusion fixes an underlying ever ongoing problem. Degenerate disc disease along with osteoarthritis.
You can’t outrun your DNA that momma gives you. My whole litter has arthritis out of the six that lived old enough to get it.
 
Well that doesn't like much fun. With the dizziness I was thinking a bit dehydrated? Possible inner ear infection? Possible fluid in the inner ear issues? I surely hope that whatever "they" find, does not result in more surgery or neck brace.

Made two trips to Houston last Feb. During the drive through that monster of a town I had no idea where I was. Luckily the signs are mostly correct and I made it to Herman Hospital. Hope I never have to go back.
 
CB I hope everything is ok brother and good luck to you. Might be time to start taking it easy. You seem like a tough one so don’t give the Drs too much grief.

Herman is easy to find. Just follow the ambulances. But don't follow the one that is going slow or stops at Whataburger.............it's going to Ben Taub with a cadaver or drug overdose.
