Here is an updated picture of my Mother's Backyard Balancer heifer calf. She is 1/2 Dexter and 1/2 Gelbvieh. She is still a cute little thing. She is short but very round

she is a nice calf. Very deep and she looks like she will have a lot of capacity.
Short legs means that she can reach the grass easier *wink*

Could be the start of a trend! Is she registered?
I am working on starting the American Backyard Balancer Association or the ABBA. I will extend to you the first membership offer. You can get in on the ground floor of this sure fire thing

Hoss, is this the offspring of the "Ugly" momma cow you pictured a while back?

To keep the brahman folks from suing you (ABBA), let's simply change the acronymn to ABBBA. American Backyard Bassett Balancer Assoc. Other than the shortness, she's a good looking heifer! A true tank!

Does the momma have headlights for horns?
Nah....just worn spot on the hay ring and the sun reflecting off of it. If I had one with horn lights I would sell her to a circus

I'm definitely looking at my cows in a different light....... ;-)
Classic example of what a good bull can do for an......uhhh.....let's say less than mediocre cow :lol2:
