Just sold three calves avg weight was 407 per head . Calves were 6 mo. old . Fence lined weaned for twenty days feeding alfalfa/grass hay and creep mix . Two of the calves were twins . Asking to see if these calves measure up to other producers calves .

Good cows will wean 50% of their body weight. Your calves prolly lost weight during the weaning too. Unless your receiving a premium for pre weaned calves, take em to the salebarn the day you wean em.
