Atlas Moth

I wanted to share a photograph of an Atlas Moth. It had come out of it's cocoon and climbed onto a milk crate to unfold it's wings. It was still pumping when we saw it.
The wingspan was over 8 inches.

My wife said its most likely a cecropia moth. Atlas moths look a little different.
