Seems that all language dealing with assult weapons had been dropped from coming to a vote at a federal level. One spokesman said there was only 40 votes for doing away with them. I think the magazine capacity limit is not going to make it either.
Thanks to NRA and all the people that stood up for their rights, which includes many of the members here.

don't celebrate yet. They are after the hicap mags and I guarantee they will give their lives for a universal background check law.

Sadly that is the dumbest one of all. Only scared honest people will use it and the criminals will then steal their legally ownd guns and use them to kill other honest people.

our government is the greatest collection of morons in the history of the world.

It's called the CON gress for a reason

Just do yourself a favor and act like we're still losing and keep writing letters and pounding on them. Let's keep the momentum in our favor for a change.

WTF do you mean ACT like we are losing. We done lost. The bills are all sitting on the Democrat Govenors desk waiting to be signed. The only hope we have is that the poll he is secretely conducting will tell him that his a$$ is grass, and he won't be re-elected if he signs them into law.

Yes, thank you to the NRA and our members, but do not let your gaurd down. You can bet your arse this is an effort to make us think we have won, and as a result the socialist plan is that we will back off contacting our reps and senators, which they hope will take the pressure off of those legislators who have one leg on one side, other leg on the opposite side, with that barbed wire in that place between the shither and the snack bar. When the pressure has been relieved, those fence riders will jump. They are all under pressure to leap to the left.
Don't let this recent "good news" allow you to lay your head on that pillow tonight and feel all warm and fuzzy. Keep those calls and letter going out as early and often as possible. Lucifer doesn't sleep.

Just keep buying and reloading ammo
We all might have to become Minute Men as horrible as that might be.
Our only defense is we are willing to fight at the ballot box and in the street if nessacary to defend the Constitution.
That is all keeping the tyrant's in check.

I myself wondered this weekend what has changed that no one is talking about banning assault rifles. Seems it was a quick thought now no one in the fed cares so it was dropped... seems that way to me but i have been wrong once before. I just want to be able to walk into the store and buy AMMO like it was before all this mess or maybe fed gov't is controlling gun issues through ammo manufacturers. No bullets = a club.

C.B. I would love to buy ammo and or reload but in my state there is none to do either... If there is ever a good supply like it was before I will spend a good $5,000 - $7,000 in ammo I do not want to get caught with my pants down again.

If there's a bright side to be found in your state 3way, this might be it.

Thanks but it doesn't help much. The state legislature (Dems) threatened to cut the Sherrif's pay if they opposed them in this matter. There were scores of Sherrif's wanting to testify in opposition to these bills and they were told to pick ONE spokesman and he would be allowed to speak(notice i didn't say be heard).

This is all part of a long standing agenda to disarm us and they used these crisis to accomplish their goals. Welcome to Commierado. We have become the best part of California. The front range (Boulder and Denver) run this state and the rest of us are left wondering what happened to the State where we grew up. Literally 5% of the land mas controls 100% of the politics.

I hope Gov Hickenlooper likes this 4 years. Hopefully it will be his last!

The same way here. Seattle controls the politics of this state. Same thing can be said for Oregon where Portland is the controling area. Getting to the point where there are darn few states where the urban people don't out number and thus control the rural folks.
