Most cattlemen in this country don't even eat US raised beef. Mexican beef cost half of what US raised beef cost at the grocery store here in Georgia. We won't buy or serve beef that wasn't raised in the US of A. And if everyone that raises beef would ask every time "where did this beef come from" we could make a difference.
Our problem is those organizations that are supposed to be looking out the the US cattlemen aren't doing their job. The Beef check off apply to imported beef. And don't believe for a minute that NCBA isn't getting paid from the other countries that are selling beef in the US of A.

Most stores have no idea where the beef came from, nor do they give a dam. Just don't let them run out. Even the "USDA inspected" on a box means little more than the weight has been checked for accuracy.
