Asian Cows

Hey, I'm new to the forums. Here's my first question forr you all.

I was checking the cow breeds, and noticed that none of the cows were orginated in south east asia. In countries such as laos, cambodia, and vietnam, what kind of cattle are raised? Thanks.

Cattle and Water Buffalo are mainly used for draft in that part of the world. Very little breeding taking place for meat production. Although there have been importations of Brahman cattle (American Zebu Breed) to be used to cross with the native cattle which are also Zebu types.
