For any of the gun people beware of Scams on Armslist. I always look through the local listings and last night I found a S&W model 25 that I really liked the looks of and the price even better. $600 which I thought was a bargain. It is a 45 LC so I was not familiar with the current value. I went to gunbroker to look them up and there was the same pictures but with a price of $1350 which seemed more real. I kept looking at armslist and found another pistol that was also on gunbroker for a lot higher price. The armslist ones were in Knoxville TN and the gunbroker ones were in Missouri so I contacted the guy and told him I would be interested in them at the armslist price but I was pretty sure he should look at it. He replied today that that happened 3-4 times a year. I contacted a couple of other people and they stated the same. Gunbroker has buyer protection but with Armslist you have nothing. Just be careful
