Arkfeld scale

Yesterday at a consignment sale I brought an Arkfeld instant weigh dial scale, 1500 lbs. It has a factory built, solid wall pen 6 feet by 3 feet an is in excellent shape. I only paid $150 and I see a new Llama scale, platform only, sells for $900 and weighs only 500lbs. So I think I got a good deal. Here's the problem, if you stand on one side it weighs perfect, stand on the other side and it barely weighs at all. I noticed that the platform is setting lower on one side than the other. Anybody have any suggestions? I have the company address so I can call. Worst case senario I could put a digital scale under it. Thanks

I'd love to have a cheap scale pen also if anybody knows of a good place to get one at a decent price...

You could have a bad wiegh bar or faulty wiring ton one or more weigh bars.
