The pics are pretty small. Can you enlarge them? It's hard to tell at that size.

Skyline and btrancher thanks for looking and replying. This was my second attempt to post pic here. I am not sure how to enlarge them, that is the reason for the spacing, was hoping that would do it. Yes, they look beefmasterish to me. Is the big one the momma to the little heifer?

Yes that is a pair, mom and heifer calf. Wasn't sure what they were when I bought them, just knew I liked them. A neighbor thought they were either simbra or beefmaster.

I would say yes they are beefmaster and a very nice pair at that. Where did you buy them at ?

JR, Thanks for your response. That is what I believe as well. I use to be able to recognize breeds on sight. The breeds have sure changed in 30 years. Some of the changes I like, some not sure about. She is a young cow, hope she is not someone's cull due to not breeding back. Guess time will tell.
