Thoughts on an old case disc mower? Bad, junk, good? What do they go for normally?
Looked them up on tractor house and seen one for 3500.00. I can get this one cheap. Older man doesnt have any more cows and sitting in shed for last 4 years. he just wants it out so he can get a newer tractor in the shed. I can get it and an old new holland 850 chain baler for next to nothing and they look good. Well taken care.
We have most of our hay done for us except for me puttin up some small squares every year. But the price keeps going up so I may do it myself next year. I had said this to this older gentleman and he said to stop by after work he wanted to show me something. I looked at both and they are in really good condition. I think he just wants to help me out. He used to raise herefords and he comes and looks at mine all the time.
We are talking about 90 big bales a year. Think that old equipment would do that? He says it will.
