I've been seeing some things about this company and product called Ranchbot. Seems interesting but curious if anyone has heard of them or used any of their products?

The problem I have with using game cameras is that my cell service is rather spotty. I don't trust the cellular connection to actually be reliable. Which means now I'm checking game cameras and water you know?

Are you wanted to monitor your livestock water?

I was going to buy the the Lonestar system last year, but they were out of stock. I never got one bought.

An elderly man I know has something his daughters set up for him. I'm not sure of the brand. He bragged about checking the cows in the ice storm from his living room. Other than that I don't think he much cares for it. Getting out there in the pasture is his life.

They will get a picture out in some pretty bad service areas. If a text will go a pic will go. The camera will store the pic also for a little while and send when service comes back. I have them in areas where the service comes and goes with the wind, literally.

I always found it strange that wind affects service, but it does.
