Howdy,
I was looking for some unput regarding cattle clippers. I figure the clippers I buy now, will be the last pair I purchase. So as to price.. I would rather pay that extra $50 for a good clipper.

Ardis, Wahl, Oyster, etc..

Depends what you want to do with them. For showing cattle, we have three different clippers. The Oster "flathead" (clipmaster) clippers & Oster Shearmaster (sheep head). The third is the Andis Super 2-speed with two different heads.
We use the sheep heads for buzzing the cattle bald, use the flatheads for faces & neck prior to show & use the Andis for all our bloocking. Andis are great because they are light, quiet & no blowing air.
The brand "Lister" is supposed to also be a great clipper - flathead and/or sheephead.
