antler sheds and frustration

About 3 months ago Codey found a shed. Now that alone is cool, but just today I found its other half while checking fences. So I called over to him, tossed it to him and told him it was the other half. Now, finding a shed is cool, finding the mate is cooler, and this was the first one I've run across. But what does he do....walk across the bridge, and sees a ground rattler 40 ft out. So he cuts and runs to grab a shovel, and forgets what the h**l he did with the shed...dag nabbit! It may be in the water for all I know....kids...can't help but love em

Forget the horns did he kill the rattlesnake! First things first kill the rattlesnake.
Them horns are cool until you see an 8 point shed rolling over in the rear tractor tire.

I thought that was where this thread was going. Figured he found that other half in a tire. Happens about once a year around here.

Clearing brush is the worst. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 year old sheds just waiting to puncture a tire. Even got one in the kids little 110cc 4 wheeler. No telling where it came from.

Grandson just had to have show and tell items on a Friday a couple of weeks back. I sent a backpack full of sheds. That was a big hit.
