I just took over a neglected pasture from a neighbor and was discing the mess for the first time the other day and when I took a break from the dust I had a guy stop and ask me why I was using an antique tractor with such a big plow as he called it.
Well my tractor is a Ollie Super 55, repaired but not rebuilt and as I informed the neighbor that I haven't met before:

If it isn't older than me then its not a damn antique!

Now the disc is another story, I have no idea how old that is...isn't even mine and is older than me!

theres nothing rong with an ollie tractor.ive got a buddy that has an 1855 ollie.heck ive got an old 6000 ford commander.scott

30 years makes it an antique, or so I'm told. Then they are supposed to gain value, right?

Thanks for the clarification...Susie will be glad to know that she's married to a classic not an antique...what's the cut off point? Dave Mc
