I would recommend for anyone in the vicinity to vaccinate immediately. Deer, wild hogs and flies will make it spread.

Not that it will cover what is lost but, "The Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP) provides benefits to eligible livestock owners for livestock deaths caused by eligible loss conditions. Anthrax is identified as an eligible disease."
This reported case is the first instance of Anthrax in that county in 50+ years.

Never said they work 100%-anyone selling that promise is lying. The goal is to reduce the severity of the disease and slow down its spread. Kinda like vaccines in cattle, dogs, kids, ...
