I think it's good at 1/4 cost of a no till seeder and I am going to keep it and use on plots. What I will say is you have to fix the drop tubes to where it gets covered by the back packer. They move and sometimes it dumps them but doesn't cover them or press into the soil.
I think if you simply drug a chain or piece of angle iron or a post behind you it would be perfect. I put too many seeds in so I had to keep going over the spot to get them out and that thing is a great cultipacker. I will say It's a simple effective seeder with some draw backs but not enough I'd say it's trash for what it is
It does nothing on ground that has not been worked.
I did a 10 part series on it on my YouTube channel since no one else has did anything on it.
Absolute most important thing is to use clean seeds I used feed oats and barley and it jammed the meter up. I used a 5 gallon bucket of seeds and it went pretty far with the meter wide open.
