Correct the bottle says 5 days, the insert said they had even used up to 9 days in a study. I gave 2 shots after the draxxin, and then in a effort to get him up gave him 2 shots after the baytril. My concerns have been the fever, panting and heavy breathing, and him just laying down, not standing/walking often and looking like in pain when walking. I even started second guessing myself and thnking maybe it was navel ill, have examined/cleaned the navel area and it looks okay--not hot, no puss. The calf has been outside and we have had an extremely wet/muddy spring (think it has rained 10 of the last 14 days), so that is still in the back of my mind. As of yesterday the panting/heavy breathing stopped and he was getting around good. Wed morning fever was 103.1, Thur evening was 103.8, now if that would just go down. I actually thought maybe the fever spikes in the evening. I read on another post 103 was not that extremely high for young calf. If he is up today I plan on stopping the banamine and if doesnt continue to improve off to the vet we will go. Thanks for your help MM. donna
