Another Prayer Request

We have friends that have had the world cave in on them it seems. Susanne has been sick off and on now for several years and is on pregnazone at all times plus oxygen. Last week her husband Al was dignosed with Lung Cancer. Sunday their home burned to the ground and they lost everything except for the old pickup truck. I know they would covet and appreciate your prayers. A wonderful loving family.

Peg they do have two grown sons and believe it or not one is a fireman. Insurance will cover replacement of the the house if they decide to rebuild and in the meantime one of the members of their church parrish has a furnished house that belonged to her mom who recently passed away and has made it available to them. Other than that it's pretty much "hand to mouth" and whatever friends help with. I really appreciate all the prayers and I know that they are thankful as well....God bless you all.

Please see if they can get foodstamps on an emergency basis. This is not "charity" nor "a handout".. They have been paying into the system for a loong time,and may as well get some of it back.. It is possible to get help.
Hope I'm not out of place suggesting this,but it is a helping hand ..

No you're not out of line at all. In these situations I'd think they should qualify for whatever is available at least temporarily.
