Ok while we're at it. Here's a 9 year old. Has a calf about ready to wean and is 5 months bred. Tell me what you do/don't like about her. These are some old foundation cows and am trying to build on these. All comments are appreciated and needed.

phenotypical brangus.. ok you can stop now im getting jealous ;-)

There's nothing wrong with that cow, except she isn't mine. I think thats the way cattle should look. She's bringing a calf every year what more could you ask.I would be very proud to own her.

As long as she isn't the "grind you into the topsoil" type I can't find a lot of fault in her. Where did you get these Brangus? I wish had some more like them.

Miles I actually bought this cow in a group of three at an auction barn when she was carrying her first calf. Have no idea about her breeding background. The others didn't work out. She's very gentle, milks good and has bred on lst service everytime. Maybe I can get some pics of their calves soon.

Big Bull....found a pic I had of this old cows August 2006 Calf.

holy moley thats 1 heck of a heifer calf.i hope you kept that heifer.her momma sure knows how to raise them calves.

Oh yeah she's a keeper. We AI'd here in December. Hope she turns out like her mom. Oh and by the way, someone asked on another thread how to clean up the sheath or navel on brahman influence cattle like the brangus. This mama cow is pretty clean to begin with but the New Era bull we used to get this heifer also cleans up this area so the heifer is pretty slick on the bottom side.
