Another Ky buck

This was harvested this morning by the gentleman leasing my place. This is the third year in a row, he has filled his tag with a buck worth mounting.

I think these guys will be keeping it long term. Unfortunately, my friend that takes my son hunting is getting in poor health. I may have to quit leasing it, to let Micah hunt at the house. I had plans of my lease putting atleast one of my kids thru college. Looks like I'll only be able to do that one to two more years.

I dont think any of our hunters have gotten a big buck yet. They've gotten pigs, and maybe a spike or two...Husband had a wall hanger in his sights. Gun misfired, deer didnt run but came closer to him and stood broadside just waiting. Husband couldnt get the misfired bullet out of his gun...Went back the next day to see if he was around with newly adjusted ammo, didnt see it and when we got back to his truck, there he stood. Had gun unloaded and in its bag...lol....He's there right now, he's determined to get it before someone else does.
What do mounts cost in your area...The last one we had done was 500...first one we had done years ago was 250. We have a balcony in our livingroom i'd love to put a full body mount jumping over. Bet that would cost a fortune..

I've never had one done. I like a European mount. Mainly because it's free.
