Does the T end insert in that slotted flange above the PTO and the straight end goes up to hold something?

It allows you to hold the PTO and turn it to the proper angle while still sitting on the tractor to connect to whatever implement you want... saving pinched fingers and the on/off tractor time?

So I guess we would call it a PTO hooker upper thinga-ma-bob?
