When my son was in middle school (19 now) he saw three kids bullying a smaller 6 grade kid. James told them to stop and told the little kid to go get the principle. The bullies attacked James and he whipped them using some wrestling take downs and submission holds. He got sent to the office and was told to get me on the phone. I have always taught my kids leadership and to stand for what is right. He did that. The whole thing was taped. The school was going to suspend James for picking a fight. When I was told what happened and picked my son up he showed me where it happened and where the cameras were. We went back to the principles office and I asked to see the tape. They said no due to privacy issues. I said well guess my attorney will get a supeopna then. We watched the tape right then and the principle "upon further review" elected to give James a pass and thank him for defending that little boy. Those kids never bothered James or that boy again and that little boy won VA states as a sophmore in the 112 class. Two wrongs don't make a right but in this case Dad sure was proud!
