That first cow really is a special kind of ugly! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

The rest of them look just fine.

Congrats on posting the pictures. Now lets see some pics of those Labs!!!!
 
I'll get a few pics of the dogs on here tomorrow for ya. I've got six to choose from right now, lol. About all I can say about that horned cow is she had an unassisted birth and sea to be a decent mother. But man is she fugly. Hopefully being on good grass this year will help her out.
 
I really like your cattle and they are raising you some calves, and i have never seen an ugly cow as long as she does her job.
 
Jallen, We all have an ugly cow or 2! I hate it when my ugly cow just has to be standing along the road anytime
somebody comes to my farm! Where are you from ? Looks like your grass hasnt seen much snow.
 
I'm in north Alabama near cullman. We've had one snow this year but it didn't stay long. I'm waiting on lime and fertilizer as we speak. Just has to dry out some. No snow but tons of rain.
 
No bull right now. I've only had these cows for a couple of months. That youngest calf is the only one born here so far. I'm getting a 1 yr old black limousin from cattleman200 around march 1st.

he should do a good job for you, that first cow may be a challange for him though :cowboy:

Nice calves. Looks like they're beginning to drag the cows down a little.. may be time to set out a protein tub..
Seems like ugly cows always produce the dandy calves..
 
The third picture shows a bull calf with his mom but the other pic of a bull calf with a cow is not his mom. His mom is number 5 and she is getting drug down. There is a pic of her in there, you can see the 5 on her side. Not bad but I have noticed it. I have only had them since late December and have kept protein tubs and hay out since day one. Truth be told the guy buying for me was looking for cows that were on the rough side so I could afford enough to run my land at capacity. They should have all the grass they can handle here soon but I'm planning to wean the two bull calves pictured as well as a heifer calf that is just a grunt younger within a couple months.
 
This is the ugly cow that the bull calf was out of that wound up doing well. Go figure. I think a pic of him is in this thread as well. If I remember her purchase price correctly she just about paid for herself.
