On Tuesday July 11, a major feedyard representative will be visiting with us at my place in Montgomery, Alabama.

Anyone interested in learning about feedyards, grid placing cattle, or just general info pertaining to feeding, is welcome to come and jaw with us. These people are CAB approved, and are the most knowledgeable and data driven feedyard folks anywhere.

Will do. He only gets to Al. about once or twice a year and we generally over-do his visits though. (If you know what I mean)

It takes about 2 1/2 Hrs from where we live. I thought we might leave here shortly after Lunch and that would put us there about 3-3:30 if that is OK. PM directions so that I want get Lost, BTW, We sure have taken a beating about these old black cows. My head is so bloody I can hardly see!!

The Feedlot is in Kansas.

I don't know exactly what time Dan will get here. We'll be having cocktails about darkish or a little before.

Mike is 3:00 or 3:30 still OK. I will only be able to stay about an hour before I have to rush home to get the chores done.
We got a nice shower last night. Right at 2 tenths. Even had a puddle in the yard. That is the best all summer.
