The angus breed were the winners of the this interbreed award at Brisbane last week.
They broke the stranglehold that the Charolais breed has had for many years. This class has been going for about ten years or so. Other breeds that have had success are the Murray Grey and Gelbvieh.
The champion bull had Rito breeding and the champion female was by TC Stockman.
The Lowline breed won the miniature breeds interbreed award.
