Yep! Right up to about 8 months old, then we wean them and momma pops out another one a month later. :lol2:

pretty bad Sir loin when you have to leave then on the cow for 8 months to get them in shape to wien,,must make them cows kinda poor shape for the next birth! :banana: :banana: :banana:

No, not at all!
Here in TN, with all our year round grass and plenty of hay they do just fine.
But Then again, they are Angus!!
Here it’s not uncommon to wean at around 8 months, if momma hasn’t already weaned them first.

Of course they are angus,,,,,,thats why you HAVE to leave them on momma for 8 months to get them in good enough shape to pull them off
The whole idea of this post was not to slam angus,,, just to see if Frankie was around,,,,,you could never saY Anything bad about them or she would lock the post... I do not dislike angus at all,,in fact I have a few but they are called black baldies
