What was your opinion of the Ft. Worth Jr. angus show? as far as 1st to 3rd place and Division and Overall Champion selection?

hmm, I was in class 11, it was tha largest class. I didn't get to see the show though. but the heifer that won it all was good. I have never seen the heifer that got reserve.
Off topic but i have another small ?
I got reserve of my division and when I went in for the champion drive, the champion of my division got champion overall. So I went in it place but the ring attendents had me walk behind all the other heifers and there was NO room for me(the heifer behind me had moved up before I got there) so my heifers whole front and back where covered by other cattle, it made me so angry. My teacher said that if i make it to the champion drive at huston to just walk in front of the other heifers so the judge can see her
should I?

congrats on winning reserve in your division
Yes! You are supposed to exhibit your animal where the judge can see it. If another individual or animal goes out of its way to block you then it is your responsibility to get where the judge can see you, not the ring stewards. I have been in the same situation many times, where someone wants to crowd you. I don't get upset or anything, just go with flow, make a circle and pull back in line where the judge can see you.
If he can't see you, he can't pick you.
