What are acceptable weaning and yearling wieghts for an Angus bull. The bulls I picked out on paper(eps) weren't quite all that when I went and looked at them. The last one I looked at had a 540 ww and a 1034 yw, just seemed a little low to me. He wasn't from a heifer and mother had sufficient milk as well. Pastures were solid bermuda.

If 540 is his adj. ww I think thats to low . I look for 100 lbs. a month.
