I just bought some replacement Heifers. The Heifers are A.I'd to Program, In Focus and Image Maker. I went online to see if their offspring would make good replacements. I went yo the ABS web site. I found the first two but was unable to find Image maker. Is Image an ABS bull?? Thank you.

regenwether- I know nothing about the Program bull- but just having Future Direction in his pedigree would rule him out for me  ... Of the 3 I think your best bet for replacements will come from the In Focus... The In Focus's I've seen have been broad and deep and nice looking-most were pretty moderate framed too- with great dispositions which has given In Focus a +22 Docility EPD...The Image Makers I've seen never impressed me- either in looks or disposition -- all have been much more flighty- maybe the reason he has earned a -1 Docility EPD...They were long but not that deep- and most were bigger framed than I like ...Also Image Maker, with a +37 Milk EPD, is much higher than would work for me....I prefer those numbers to be in the 10 to 20 range somewhere....

I have several first calf heifers out of Matrix, they look good are maintaining their condition and and milking well. They have beautiful udder structure and look to be the type that we will want to retain in the herd. He is a Genex Bull not ABS. We also sold a couple of Matrix sons back in November and they were well received by the commercial bull buyers.
