With a heat index of 121F I thought it prudent to stay well hydrating in the hay field today.

Just finished. Not sure if its the feeling of accomplishment that comes with finishing a job gave me the feeling of youthful vigor and I hated to see the job end but as you can see from the photo the field was getting a bit blurry so its probably good I finished when I did. Believe I'll head to the house and slap the old gal on the azz. If you don't hear from me for a few days don't worry just means the old gal ain't feeling as spry as I am.

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
We think alike on this day. We only have a heat index of 103, but I still decided to sample the still :D
and try the same with my bride. She told me to put that energy to better use and go pick tomatoes

Picking tomatoes! You bride must be my bride's long lost sister or something because mine just informed me she bought some fresh salmon and has asked me to cook it on the grill for supper. Its only 123F but its cool inside the house where the grill is not. Oh well, best keep my little paws to myself today because I think we are on different wave lengths today. :lol2: I do suspect I best stay well hydrated while cooking the salmon though. Heck, its too hot to eat.

They do have a way with bargaining the merchandise  It's just in their nature to get something extra out of us, before they give it up

Tell me again why you bought a new tractor with a cab and cold AC? A little sweat never hurt anyone, even at your age. I sure wish I was there helping. This sitting tied to the dock stinks. I hope you get it all up with no issues and have one on me you deserve it. :drink:

I ask her to let me video her doing what she does. She said NO. So I only got this picture

Will she be aging the juice? Could be a useful hydration tool to use when doing something exciting like painting trim or fluffing hay. Hydration is key.
