alternator 1993 honda

Yes, it should be round, probably made of aluminum and have a pulley on the front.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! And I have no idea about a Honda, it's probably located under the motor or in the trunk!

Im thinking if you dont know what it looks like then you probably dont need to be changing it.

If you must though, go buy the new (rebuilt) one then look for something that looks the same. Your changing a couple bolts and a few wires.

Lord help me the world has become full of comedians :D I know what the flippin things look like ---what I was trying to express was had anyone taken one off before and how ---not much room there

Just giving you a hard time. Had to change one on the wife's Saturn a few years back, it was under and behind the motor. Wound up changing it from below but not before removing the tire and inner fenderwell.

Kind of like changing the starter on a 70 T-Bird. Had to unbolt the engine and jack it up about 3" to get the freaking thing out.

I now have an agreement with my mechanic. He doesn't train horses and I don't work on trucks.Z
