Alpha-7

Anyone here ever use Alpha-7 7-way? I noticed that it calls for 1 initial shot rather than 2.

I did on 10 head. It had a much worse reaction site swelling. And if you use the MB formula for pink eye you have to give another pink eye shot. Won't use it again.

I use it and wouldn't use anything else. Like Scotty said, count on it to leave a pretty good knot, so be sure you put it in the right spot in the neck. Just like having a precon tag in one. ;-)

Too many "experienced" cattlemen and calve buyers that say "its an abcess" and then you go from 1.00 + to .80 cent.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the info. I noticed in Valley Vets the discription said "Transient swelling...may occur." I hate to see those knots on calves' necks. How long did it take yall's to go down?

Some quickly and some take a couple of months or more.
