Worked42head early this morning,made three steers and got 56 more to work and 12 more steers to make.
Been a very good day. All the ladies were good and the little calves skeered.
And the ol bulls just strolled through like they owned the place.

Sure makes for a better day when things go well. Kind of makes you think them ole cows an't so bad after all.

We did 57 head today, castrated 11. Only problem all day was one 3 mo old heifer who took my partners son 3 times in the crowding pen and somehow managed to kick him in the forehead. I took 2 good shots in the knee and thought that wasn't bad considering.

Oh forgot the best part, managed to shoot some injectable Ivomec in my mouth, no problem the ditch was close.

we worked 20 heifers the other day. i took out old tags, put new in, and gave the shots. only had 1 trouble heifer. felt pretty proud about the work i did.

its always more enjoyable when things go the right way. let us know how the other half goes.
