I have a PM addressed for AllForage and he has not opened it. I enjoy him. I wish he would come back. I admire that he dances to his own music. I may not agree with him but I see thoughtfulness in his statements.
One of his best comments was something to the effect that "cows always dissappoint". I think I have learned what he means. Expectations are high for a cow in a beef herd. Her chances of disappointing are high probability. Her feet, udder, getting bred back, delivering calves, staying in good health, etc. Texasbred made a statement that we ask a lot from a beef cow. Indeed we do!
