Having lived in Alberta for many years ......

You can get everything from snow to hot.

Nov 11 - Remembrance Day - I have stood at attention in short sleeves and in a great coat - just depends on the day. I have hunted moose and sweated and I have hunted moose in deep snow.

What time are you going - what are you doing? It is a long month.

If I were going to Calgary to visit in the city I would wear jeans and running shoes and a warm shirt. I would carry a light jacket and a toque. That is a wool knit cap to you. That is all you really need - it is not the arctic. You will be fine for the entire month with this.

Bring a jacket with a liner and you will be good to go - take out the liner and just go with the sweater if it stays warm - the wind will be the killer - so you need something windproof.

If I were going to the country I would wear jeans and a warm shirt. I would wear a pair of work boots that might or might not be lined - depending on my mood - that is why I wear something I can put more than one pair of socks into.

I would bring a sweater and a fleece lined jacket with an outer shell that prevents wind from blowing through for this part of the trip as well.

I might even bring a pair of gloves.

If I was going hunting I would bring everything the truck could carry because you just never know!

I miss it - it has hovered around 50 degrees C here for the past week - drank a lot of water.

Enjoy your trip
