This is supposed to be small town rural American kids that still have morals and values instilled in them, but that is deteriorating just like in the city.
Used to be people held themselves and others to a higher standard. Now days nothing is off limits. I would like to blame Hollywood, the music industry and the media, and they do play a role in it, but they aren't soley responsible.
It's the people and degradation of morals, standards, values and what is holy

What was that old saying, "how ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm once they've seen the big city?"

Well I guess cable/satellite TV and the Internet have replaced the big city.
