AK-47 or AR-15

I prefer AR's. I just picked up two more at the shop for 1100 and 1200. They went up $150 just since Obama got elected. Everyone is scrambling to get them so I figured I would get two more while they had them in stock as their next shipment is at least 12 weeks out!

I've been trying to find one in .308. Everyone is out of stock!!

edit: Found a new DPMS LR 308 w/ 24" bulldog barrel for $1,800. Nope, didn't buy it but it gives you idea of how prices are going through the roof on AR types!!

Gotta go with the AR, although I have no real use for either one, and I expect they'll be outlawed in a few weeks. :frowns:

The AK-47 is probably one of the most dependable weapon ever.
You can run over it with your truck,throw it in the mud,burry it in dirt,and it's still ready to use.
It was and probably still is used by just about every army in the world including the American GI.
