Yup, it suuuure is. :D

Y'know those three bulls I found a while back? Those ones that where supposed to be steers (and Doc Harris almost lost his lunch over? ;-) ) Well, after waiting to see if Dad would pull them out himself, I got them separated just a few minutes ago.

Sounds easy, don't it? Well, it sure ain't when you got a big corral in the back and most of the herd is farthest from the working pens.

I had to put in three quarters of the herd up in the front just to get those three out, as well as that one with the lump in his leg. There's two steers I had to put in the barn before I let most of the back herd in, btw.

Man they (the bulls) were STUBBORN!! They REFUSED to leave the herd, and the only way around that was to out fox them...which I find I am very good at. Since there were four I had to get, I put them in two at a time.

Yep, I did that ALL by myself...Dad always helps me with that sort of stuff, but he's pretty exhausted from all the work he's been doing last week and this weekend, so he slept whilst I was out sweatin' my butt off. :D Can't wait to see his face when he wakes up and finds out what I did today!

Anyways, them four, plus the other two that have been there a while, are happily picking at the bale set out for them. :cboy:

Thanks. Dad was pretty pleased to hear that, and Mom, after she came home had to ask me "how did you do it??" in amazement. And yeah, it IS even better when I can say I did it myself! :D

BTW, I didn't use a sorting stick nor a hotshot. I felt I didn't need one, the cattle see me and hear me enough without me needing to give them a good thwack on the rump to get them moving or out of my way.
