I would like to have my Angus heifers AI' this July. I only have five, but it is a start.
Can anyone here recommend someone for WI in the upper northwest part.

I'd suggest you think about asking your straw supplier for the names of AI Techs in your area - or the straw supplier may be able to provide their own tech at a reasonable cost. Genex has a Learning Center looks like it could be useful. If you're new to this, an AI class can be a great way to make contacts and build your personal knowledge and skills.

You can get more info (contact info) from the links below. ABS is of course a Wisconsin Company.

I get about 75% of new referrals from my Select Sires and Accelerated Genetics semen suppliers. as most do not want to mess with less than a large herd.... I got into doing the tech work to help the small folks that do not have a big herd to work up and do not want to have a bull around for 11 months of a yr eating hay and not producing anything.... have not worked with Genex but hear nothing but good about them

Hopalong - do you mostly use TAI? Or just drive out whenever they have one come in?

I do both.... I like natural if possible but that is not always easy... I also let some folks bring their cows to me and pay yardage so i can actually catch them going into heat.....I try to be accomidating to those who need my service without being out of range price wise
