Martin was ejected from the game and suspended for two games. This was the first multi-game suspension for an on-field incident in modern NFL history, and would remain the longest suspension for an on-field incident until Albert Haynesworth of the Tennessee Titans was suspended five games for stomping on the head of Dallas Cowboys center Andre Gurode in 2006.

I wonder what they'd do to someone who did this nowadays.

I know alot of people are really into Sports but IMO it is one of the biggest wastes of time and money there is and yes I p;ayed football in HS and could of went to college on a FB scholarship but
I didn't
I have several relatives that are colllege and HS school coaches but It has all turned into a cesspool of violence and thugs who couldn't make it in the real world Sports and politics are the 2 most corrupt things in society today IMO
There is just to much MONEY involved anymore

I would much rather watch a little league game than sports at pro level.
Me too as long as the parents will shut up and watch the game and let the kids be kids. ;-)

You can say that again. Kid's can't have any fun for the parent's thinking their Little Johnny is the next pro star and the team lost cause all the other kids suck.

Kids are fun to watch and are very entertaining, but most of the time some loud mouth idiot parent will overshowder it all.

Ok, you are right about the parents. I will step it up a notch and say a Jr high or high school game. By then the parents have shut up or they are lost in the crowd but the kids are still playing for the love of the sport.

Worst display I ever saw was at a game one step up from t-ball. Best I recall, there was to be one pitcher (an adult) who threw to both sides. We'll play 5 innings and we don't really have winners and losers. A parent stood up in the stands and shouted a speech to the effect "Why the he77 are we here"? I thought he was an a**, but I agreed with him.
