Hey Bward did you guys get your haying done?

Nope not yet. The hay crops here are nothing short of spectular especially for dryland. Its such a strange year here with it being so humid and warm compared to the dry windy summer days we are horribly used to. I personally like the humid fragrant air. But enough of that.. back to the point.. we are about half done. This year we bought a new used haybine from Great Falls which really helped speed things up. The old one ( 27) hasn't retired yet but got put to work on the older crested wheat grass fields. The newer one with the pluggging up conditioner reverser, ( whatever you call it) got used on the heavy brome alfalfa. What a dream that is to have. 8)

I hear ya about the humidity this whole year has been strange.Alberta is known for it's cold dry winters but this winter was very humid and the heat is here to dry the cut hay but the humidity is at 90%.Strange to say the least. Not complaining though because at least things are still growing. Here's hoping everyone gets their haying done and have good luck with their equipment.
