Anybody had any dealins with the Africander breed on the Texas or Louisianna Gulf coast?

I have experience with them, but not on the Texas or Louisiana Gulf coast.

They are a breed very well suited to hot DRY conditions, if my geography is any good, I suspect the Gulf coast would be hot and humid?

BTW the correct spelling is Afrikaner without the d
