Like the looks of the Lawson aerators. Anyone used one? Seems like someone was at the Tulsa Farm Show a couple of years back (from Pryor) that had one for rent. Any of you Okie's remember who it might have been?

sorry fellers, but i can't help you with the Lawson. we use an AerWay & have been pleased with it.

Welp, I was off on the brand. I have a Lawson video--still like the looks of them! But the rental is a pasture punch out of Vinita. Have you seen significant improvement with any runoff? Do you aeerate spring, fall or both? Thanks for your input!

i don't know of much improvement on runoff. that's not really the main goal of aerating but i s'pose it helps some.

we aerate early spring (late winter). in fact, we finished most of it before the rains started last weekend.

We used an Aer-Way last spring, and really didn't see much improvement. I don't know if it's because we're in blackland or what. I've been told they are better suited to a clay based or sand based soil.
