Advice for Broom Sedge

I guess I'm an anomaly. My broom sedge continues to flourish, when the PH is raised. I've gotten set up to weed wipe mine.

Have you soil tested? Fertility also is a factor, not just PH.

Lime, phosphorous and mow it down late in the year have been my best tactics.

The lime makes the phosphorous available to other grasses, and mowing it late in the year depletes the energy reserves which are stored in the stem.

Potash and lime here but if you do not watch it you will have a healthy stand of broom sage. Have to have something to compete with it
