Had to go into Austin for a checkup--which turned out OK. :banana: :banana:
Got up at 5:00am to get ready and be in Elgin by 7:45 (pickup time,8:00/9:00) Was picked up at 9:20 :( App at 1:30-Bus last run,
1:30 :shock: Got to office 10:45-Fast talked app to 12:30---phoned CARTS 1:15 for pickup--they came at 2:00..Got home at 4:00,
went to bed.. If you're not sick you will be..
Found out the CARTS bus driver was a former cab driver from New Orleans! She sure is good..Then met two more folks that had washed into Texas.. All said they were makeing a home in Texas.. Missed N.O. but wern't going back.. Don't blame them.
 
Sometimes the absolute worst part about illness is dealing with all the stuff to take care of it. When my mom had cancer the BS of getting referals and making appointments and getting there and getting moved to somebody else and having to go get new referrals and all the paperwork and on and on and on ... seems like it would just be easier to curl up somewhere.

And if you don't have a vehicle or don't drive...so exhausting.
 
I am glad your check up came out good. At least you did n't have to drive yourself there. Being sick is the pits.
