i dunno about the tree :o My husband just put the lights on today so...I think he did a great job!!
The birds have different colors. Some are bright red, some orange and these yellow ones.

the only birds that we see here in winter are the darn magpies that never seem to leave and a few straggler Canada Geese that fly over.

I love gross beaks! I am always trying to coax them into the yard. What are you feeding them?
 
Angie, we are feeding plain simple sunflower seeds. We get chicadees, nut hatches, beakers, blue jays (gotta love all God's creatures), and a few others. But the beakers are best 'cause of their color

Never see those down here-Thanks- Do get a lot of Goldfinch
Most people here think they're sparrows cause they're kinda a brown/grey/yellow this time of the year.
