There are a lot of good people in this world! We usually find what we are looking for and sometimes we lose focus. It does your heart good to see these kids in a real world situation.
 
Fantastic story, thanks for sharing. I wrestled throughout school and a year in college. Also had one son wrestle and was good enough to go to state, as you said Vic it is a real community, whole bunch of family members and support. To be clear by family members other wrestlers parents supporting the whole team as if they were all family. Unlike any other sport out there, I'm sure this young mans actions was a result of his wrestling family.
 
Great story and thanks for posting it 3way. Both young men won this day and hopefully hundreds were affected in a positive way.
 
Awesome story! You are correct in your description of the "Wrasslin" community... As a former collegiate wrestler myself, and a father to a wrestling son, in my opinion there is no greater sport to build ones character!!

It's a Dang Shame that we are loosing this sport in the Olympics!!

Really? I always enjoyed it....as well as the few times some network would televise the college championships. But sounds like you took it on up to the "bedroom" TN. ;-) :mrgreen: :lol2:

Wrestling was re-instated and appears good through 2024 Olympics at least.
